Between 1981 and 1997, Terry’s gifts to Ducks Unlimited raised more than $28 million—an all-time record in art sales for wetland conservation projects. His Night Flight print was originally published as Ducks Unlimited’s Artist of the Year print in 1983 in recognition of this honor. Terry took great satisfaction in knowing that his work would continue to inspire others and support his two most cherished causes—preservation and restoration of rural America—at the Redlin Art Center in Watertown, South Dakota.

After a lifetime of artistic achievements, Terry Redlin announced his retirement from painting and print signing. Redlin, widely known as America’s Favorite Artist, accomplished what he set out to do—tell stories, remember experiences of youth, and capture nostalgic moments through painting. While no additional prints will be signed and no new paintings will be created, all are invited to view Terry’s many formative works in the Collection online or in-person at the Redlin Art Center.
