“2 a.m. Feeding”

Terry recalls,
“This image is a self portrait. That's me when I was 23 or 24 years old and the baby in the blue blanket is my son. When he was born, my wife and I spent the first seven months of his life up every night because he had colic every night.
We were always up around 2 o'clock feeding him and try to get him to go back to sleep. For the heck of it one night, I started working on this painting. It's a picture I have had stashed away for many, many years.”
