Langenfeld’s Ice Cream Collection Moves to New Location!
Terry Redlin’s wife, Helene Langenfeld Redlin, was the granddaughter of the founder of Langenfeld’s Ice Cream & Dairy. Langenfeld’s Ice Cream operated in Watertown, South Dakota until the early 1960’s. The Redlin Art Center proudly displays Langenfeld collectibles and vintage ice cream memorabilia. The majority of this special collection was a gift from Helene Redlin’s cousin, Bob Wagner. It has recently been relocated from the Redlin Amphitheater to the Log Cabin within the Redlin Art Center. The collection includes vintage malt mixers, ice cream scoops of every shape and size, antique ice cream dishes, including a “penny lick”, and much more!
